Analyze Your Contract
Get instant plain English insights about your contract in under 60 seconds.
Not all PDFs are created equal. A scanned or photographed contract is just an image of text and we cannot read it any more than you can copy and paste text from a photograph. You need a text-based PDF. Here is how to make one in under 30 seconds.
MS Word on Mac: Open your document, click File, then Save As, then choose PDF from the format dropdown. Use Save As only. Do not use Export as PDF or Print to PDF, as those may create image-based files we cannot read.
MS Word on Windows: Open your document, click File, then Save As, then choose PDF from the file type dropdown. When the options appear, select Standard (publishing online and printing) and not Minimum size. Do not use Print to PDF.
Google Docs: Click File, then Download, then PDF Document (.pdf). Google Docs always creates a text-based PDF this way.
Already have a PDF: Try uploading it. If we cannot read it, it was likely scanned. Ask the sender for the original Word or Google Doc version and convert it yourself using the steps above.
Upload your contract. We'll tell you everything you need to know.
PDF only. No account needed to get started. Results in under 60 seconds.
Drag and drop your PDF here, or click to browse
Your uploaded PDF is permanently deleted within 24 hours. The extracted text from your contract is retained for 90 days to power your dashboard history, then permanently deleted. We never share your data with third parties or use it for AI training.
