These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, AI-powered contract analysis tools, template library, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
More simply put
By using ReadMyContractNow, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use of the Service by anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that entity.
More simply put
You must be 18 or older to use ReadMyContractNow. If you're using it for your business, you're agreeing on behalf of that business too.
2. The Service — What We Are and What We Are Not
ReadMyContractNow.com provides AI-powered contract analysis, plain-English explanations, risk scoring, negotiation suggestions, and a library of contract templates. Our Service is an informational tool designed to help you understand contracts. It is not a law firm, and it does not provide legal advice.
Specifically:
- We do not provide legal advice.
- We do not review your contracts for legal accuracy or sufficiency.
- We do not draw legal conclusions about your specific situation.
- We do not represent you in any legal matter.
- No attorney-client relationship is created by your use of the Service — ever.
- Our AI analysis may miss important details, misinterpret language, or fail to account for your unique circumstances or the laws of your jurisdiction.
You should always consult a licensed attorney before signing any contract with significant financial, legal, or business consequences. ReadMyContractNow is a starting point, not a substitute for legal counsel.
More simply put
We explain contracts in plain English using AI. We are not lawyers and cannot give you legal advice. Always talk to an attorney before signing anything important.
3. Accounts and Registration
Free Tier
You may use the free tier of the Service by providing your email address. No password is required. You are limited to one free contract analysis per month. Usage is tracked by email address and browser cookie.
Paid Accounts
To access Pro or Business tier features, you must create an account with a valid email address and a payment method. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information up to date. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination of your account.
Account Security
Notify us immediately at hello@readmycontractnow.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
More simply put
Keep your account information accurate and your login credentials private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

Pricing is subject to change. Any price change will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance and will apply at your next renewal.
Auto-Renewal
All paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. By subscribing, you authorize UNGA Media Corp to charge your payment method on file for the renewal amount unless you cancel before the renewal date.
FTC Disclosure — Negative Option Billing
Your first month of Pro is $14.50. Starting month 2, you will be billed $29.00 per month automatically until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard before your next renewal date to avoid the next charge.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or payment credentials. By providing a payment method, you represent that you are authorized to use it and authorize us to charge it for all fees incurred.
Failed Payments
If your payment fails, we will attempt to notify you by email. If payment cannot be collected within 7 days of the failure, your account will be automatically downgraded to the free tier. Reactivation requires a valid payment method.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of the period for which you have already paid. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already charged.
More simply put
Your subscription renews automatically every month or year. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your first Pro month is $14.50 — after that it's $29/month until you cancel.
5. Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds on subscription fees, except in the case of a documented billing error made by us. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at hello@readmycontractnow.com within 7 days of the charge with a description of the error. We will investigate and, if the error is confirmed, issue a correction promptly.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date
- Partial months of service
- Dissatisfaction with AI analysis results
- Unused features or template downloads
If you have a billing dispute, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you to resolve legitimate issues quickly.
More simply put

6. Free Tier Limitations and Fair Use

- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the one-analysis-per-month limit
- Using automated tools or scripts to access the Service
- Uploading the same contract repeatedly under different accounts
- Any use that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure
We monitor free tier usage to protect the integrity of the Service for all users.
More simply put
The free plan is for personal use — one contract a month. Don't try to game it by creating multiple accounts. We'll notice.

- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation

Your uploaded contract PDFs are permanently deleted within 24 hours of upload.
Template Downloads
Templates downloaded from our library are licensed for your personal or business use only. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or publish our templates as your own product. Unauthorized commercial use of our templates is a violation of these Terms and our intellectual property rights.
DMCA
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to hello@readmycontractnow.com with: (1) a description of the copyrighted work; (2) the URL where the infringing content appears; (3) your contact information; and (4) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized.
More simply put
Our templates, AI tools, and content belong to us. Your uploaded contracts belong to you. Downloaded templates are for your own use — don't resell them.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service contains links to third-party websites and resources, including our Free Resources section (lsc.gov, Avvo, Nolo.com, SCORE, and others). These links are provided for your convenience and information only. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or services of any third-party site.
Your use of any third-party site is governed by that site's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party services.
More simply put
We link to other websites to help you. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what happens when you use them.
10. E-Signature Services (Business Tier)
Business tier subscribers may send contracts for e-signature through our integration with Dropbox Sign (operated by Hellosign, Inc.). By using the e-signature feature, you agree to:
- Dropbox Sign's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- The ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001 et seq.) and UETA, which govern the legal validity of electronic signatures in the United States
- Take responsibility for ensuring that all parties to a contract have consented to electronic signing
We are not responsible for the legal validity, enforceability, or outcome of any contract signed through the e-signature feature. E-signatures are legal in most U.S. jurisdictions for most contract types, but it is your responsibility to confirm that e-signature is appropriate for your specific situation and jurisdiction.
More simply put
Business subscribers can send contracts for e-signature through Dropbox Sign. E-signatures are legally valid in most situations in the U.S., but confirm with an attorney if you're unsure.
11. AI-Generated Content — Limitations and Disclaimers
Our Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze contract documents and generate plain-English explanations, risk scores, negotiation suggestions, and other output. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI analysis is inherently imperfect. Our AI may miss important clauses, misinterpret language, fail to detect ambiguity, or produce output that is incomplete or incorrect.
- AI output is not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney.
- The same contract may produce different output on different analyses.
- AI analysis does not account for oral agreements, course of dealing, industry custom, or other factors that may affect the interpretation or enforceability of a contract.
- We do not guarantee that any AI-generated risk score, redline suggestion, or analysis is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.
You assume full responsibility for any decision you make based on AI-generated output from the Service.
More simply put
Our AI is powerful but not perfect. It can miss things. Don't make major legal or financial decisions based solely on what our AI tells you. Talk to an attorney.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. UNGA MEDIA CORP EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
- WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS
- WARRANTIES THAT THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USE OF THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSE
- WARRANTIES THAT ANY CONTRACT ANALYSIS, RISK SCORE, OR TEMPLATE IS LEGALLY SUFFICIENT OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
More simply put
We work hard to make ReadMyContractNow accurate and reliable, but we can't guarantee it's perfect. Use it at your own risk, and always verify important legal matters with an attorney.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL UNGA MEDIA CORP, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL
- COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES
- DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTRACT ANALYSIS, RISK SCORE, REDLINE SUGGESTION, OR TEMPLATE
WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
AGGREGATE LIABILITY CAP
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UNGA MEDIA CORP'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO UNGA MEDIA CORP IN THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
More simply put
If something goes wrong, our total legal liability to you is capped at what you paid us in the past 12 months. We are not responsible for indirect damages like lost business or lost profits.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UNGA Media Corp and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party
- Any contract you sign, execute, or rely upon in connection with your use of the Service
More simply put
If your use of ReadMyContractNow causes a legal problem for us, you agree to cover our costs.
15. Termination
By You
You may cancel your account at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation of a paid subscription takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Abuse of the free tier
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Failure to pay subscription fees
- Any use that exposes us to legal liability or disrupts the Service for other users
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — will survive.
More simply put
You can cancel anytime. We can also suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
16. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
Informal Resolution First
Before initiating any legal proceeding, you agree to contact us at hello@readmycontractnow.com and give us 30 days to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and UNGA Media Corp agree to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court. This arbitration agreement applies to all claims under any legal theory, including contract, tort, statute, or equity.
Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will be conducted in Dallas County, Texas, or by video conference if the parties agree.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER
YOU AND UNGA MEDIA CORP AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS OR PRESIDE OVER ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Exceptions
Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if the claim qualifies. We may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent unauthorized use of the Service or infringement of our intellectual property.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to hello@readmycontractnow.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your opt-out notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration.
More simply put
If we have a dispute, let's try to work it out first by email. If we can't, we'll use arbitration instead of going to court, and you agree to handle it individually — not as a class action.
17. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
More simply put
Texas law governs these Terms. Any court proceedings happen in Dallas County, Texas.
18. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for registered users, send an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to stop using the Service and cancel your account.
More simply put
We may update these Terms. We'll tell you when we do. If you keep using ReadMyContractNow after an update, you're agreeing to the new Terms.
19. Electronic Communications Consent
By creating an account or providing your email address, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including transactional emails (account confirmations, analysis results, renewal reminders, billing notices) and, if you opt in, marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any marketing email. You cannot opt out of transactional communications necessary to operate your account.
More simply put
By giving us your email, you agree to receive emails about your account. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime, but we'll still send you account-related messages.
20. North Carolina Residents
If you are a North Carolina resident, the disclaimers of warranties and limitations of liability in these Terms do not limit your rights under North Carolina law, and these Terms will not be construed to require you to resolve disputes in any forum other than North Carolina.
21. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms applicable to specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and UNGA Media Corp regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
