Remedies are the solutions a court can order when someone breaks a contract or violates your legal rights. They typically fall into two categories: money payments to compensate you for your losses, or court orders requiring someone to do something or stop doing something.
Example
If a supplier breaches your contract and you lose $10,000 in sales, a court might award you that $10,000 as your remedy.
