personnel
Definition
Personnel simply refers to all the people who work for your business, whether they are full-time employees, part-time workers, or sometimes even contractors. When lawyers or contracts use this word, they mean the human workforce of an organization rather than its equipment or other assets.
Example
A commercial lease might say you are responsible for ensuring your personnel follow the building's security rules, meaning every person who works for you must badge in and out properly.
Watch Out
Some contracts define personnel very broadly to include independent contractors and temps, which could make you responsible for their behavior even if you do not directly employ them.
