Infringement means someone used something that belongs to you legally without your permission, or you used something belonging to someone else without theirs. This usually comes up with copyrights, trademarks, or patents, where the law gives the owner exclusive rights to use that thing.
Example
If you create a logo for your bakery and a competitor copies it for their own shop, they have infringed on your trademark rights.
Watch Out
You can infringe on someone else's rights accidentally and still face serious legal consequences, so always check before using images, music, logos, or inventions that you did not create yourself.
