Divulgación means disclosure, which is the legal obligation to share relevant information with another party before or during a business deal or legal proceeding. The law requires this so that everyone involved can make informed decisions based on accurate facts rather than guesses or assumptions.
Example
Before selling your business, you must provide the buyer with full divulgación of any known problems, such as pending lawsuits or unpaid taxes, so they know exactly what they are purchasing.
