Definition
A calendar month is a full month as shown on a standard calendar, running from the first day of the month to the last day of that same month, such as March 1st through March 31st. This is different from a rolling 30-day period, which could start and end on any date.
Example
If your lease says rent is due within one calendar month of signing, and you signed on February 1st, your payment is due by February 28th rather than exactly 30 days later.
Watch Out
Contracts sometimes use 'month' without specifying calendar month or 30-day period, so always ask for clarification to avoid missing a deadline.
